Chinese Shagang increases HRC prices for August

The Chinese steelmaker Shagang announced to raise its domestic prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) by RMB170/ton for August.

After the adjustment, its list prices for Q235 HRC with thickness of 5.5mm are at RMB3, 700/ton with 17% VAT.

Besides, Shagang hiked its steel plate prices by RMB50/ton for August, taking its Q235 steel plates with thickness of 20mm to RMB3,700/ton with 17% VAT.
